Description
Corvus LLC is seeking an experienced Utility Helicopter Pilot to support wildland fire suppression operations flying the Airbus H125 (AStar) for the upcoming fire season.
This position is structured around a 12 days on / 12 days off rotation during fire contracts.
This role is suited for experienced utility pilots comfortable operating in long line, fire, and wire environments, and capable of integrating into active interagency fire operations.
Corvus is a growing multi-mission helicopter operator specializing in wildland fire support, aerial reclamation, wildlife operations, aerial application, and external load missions.
We are seeking pilots interested in a primary fire rotation position, but we are also open to contract relief pilots who prefer to work on a relief or fill-in basis during the fire season.
For pilots interested in additional flying opportunities, Corvus also conducts aerial application operations throughout the summer, allowing qualified pilots to increase flight hours and work outside of fire assignments.

Corvus is also seeking contract relief pilots who may prefer shorter assignments or coverage during rotations.
Additional flying opportunities, including aerial application work, may be available throughout the summer for pilots interested in increased flight time.

Operational Expectations
This position is aligned with Type 3 fire operations and requires pilots capable of operating independently in dynamic fire environments.
Pilots should be comfortable with:
Interagency fire operations (USFS / DOI / State)
Working with Helitack and Air Attack platforms
Operating in remote and rapidly changing conditions
Maintaining strong situational awareness and communication
Qualifications
2000+ hours PIC helicopter
100+ hours external load / long line experience
Prior wildland firefighting experience required
Mountain flying experience
Current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft License
Valid Class I or Class II Medical Certificate
Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
Willingness to travel and operate in remote environments
Preferred Experience
Previous USFS / DOI / State fire contract experience
Interagency carding
H125 / AStar experience
HEC experience
Utility or long line construction background
Wildlife operations experience
Currently carded USFS/DOI pilots or those eligible for immediate carding are strongly encouraged to apply.
