Chief Pilot Instructor – Part 61 and 141

 As Chief Instructor you will be expected but not limited to:
  • Certify training records, graduation certificates and stage checks

  • Provide flight and ground instruction in accordance with part 61 and part 141 programs

  • Provide quality instruction and support for students

  • Ensure that CFIs are proficient and pass proficiency checks every 12 months

  • Ensure compliance for Safety Management

  • Ensure compliance for Standard Operations Guidelines

  • Ensure compliance and currency for part 141 programs

  • Must complete annual and bi-annual flight reviews

  • Assist in recruiting new student

  • Take payment for sales as needed

  • Assist in marketing and other assigned tasks

  • Occasional travel may be required

  • Must be a motivated, professional and possess’ strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Must be self-motivated, reliable and honest

  • Recognize that safety and customer/student satisfaction will be the top priority
