Alpine Air Alaska is recruiting aircraft maintenance technicians for the Summer 2024 season and beyond. Positions are full-time seasonal, with full-time permanent opportunities for the right technician. Our main base of operations is located in Anchorage, Alaska but mechanics may travel to perform work in various locations throughout the state. Preferred applicants will hold a valid A&P license and have been carded or eligible to be carded for fire suppression work in the state of Alaska with an AS350B3.

The ideal candidate has:
• A valid A&P License for a minimum of 24 months.
• Been actively involved in aircraft maintenance for 12 of the preceding 24 months.
• 12 months total experience maintaining the AS350B3, or
• Taken a manufacturers maintenance course or an equivalent contractor’s course for AS350B3.
• At least three consecutive months maintaining the helicopter away from employer’s base of operation and with minimal supervision.

If you are not eligible to be carded we are still interested in hearing from you.

We have available positions for technicians with experience or the desire to gain experience
maintaining the AS350, R66, R44 and R22. Our maintenance base at Merrill Field in Anchorage, Alaska is an excellent environment to learn new skills or put existing ones to work. We maintain a daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, and offer competitive wages and retirement benefits (for full-time employees). Our focus is on maintaining aircraft safely and efficiently and believe that a healthy work life balance is key to that outcome.

If you feel the same way, we’d like to talk with you.
