DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Reports to the Director of Operations (DO) for duty assignments and responsible for maintenance budgeting

● Performs all management duties and any other specific duties assigned by the DO

● Maintains a high degree of coordination with the Director of Operations

● Responsible for interaction with the FAA relative to Maintenance operations

● Provide leadership and direction to the Shop Manager and Mechanics based on priorities established in coordination with the DO

● Responsible for the maintenance conformity of customer aircraft within the manufacturer’s guidelines

● Maintain a professional, efficient, and cordial manner at all times

● Responsible for the electronic and legal maintenance logbook entries pertaining to the work performed in the shop

● Ensure that all shop employees adhere to the duties and responsibilities outlined in the General Operations Manual and Aircraft Flight Manual for a mechanic position

● Oversee/resolve any issues or discrepancies on the customer aircraft

● Leads continual improvement efforts in all aspects of operations to achieve company goals and objectives

● Responsible for ensuring that all work areas are kept in an orderly manner for maximum efficiency and safety
