Sweet Helicopters is seeking an A&P certified Aircraft Mechanic to join our team! At Sweet Helicopters, we maintain a fleet of modern, top-of-the-line helicopters, as well as providing professional charter service, maintenance service, and flight instruction. Through a partnership with Parkview Health’s network of hospitals, Sweet Helicopters provides life-saving air ambulance services to the people of northeast Indiana, northwest Ohio, and southwest Michigan. We also proudly serve as the official helicopter charter partner for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home to the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing.”

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Performs preventive, scheduled and on-demand maintenance, inspections, repairs and modifications to airframes and engines in accordance with manufacturers' maintenance procedures, service bulletins and manuals, airworthiness directives, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Utilize hand and power tools to perform duties in a timely manner to meet a high standard of safety and quality
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft electrical systems and avionics
  • Works well with a small team as well as independently with minimal immediate supervision
  • Assist in maintaining maintenance logs and records as required
  • Maintains a clean work environment and professional appearance
  • Occasional travel required
