Sweet Helicopters is seeking a qualified Director of Maintenance to oversee and manage our helicopter maintenance operations!

The ideal Director of Maintenance will be “customer centric” with a can-do attitude when it comes to ensuring customer satisfaction, while always focusing on safety as the number one priority.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reports to the Director of Operations (DO) for duty assignments and responsible for maintenance budgeting

Performs all management duties and any other specific duties assigned by the DO

Maintains a high degree of coordination with the Director of Operations

Responsible for interaction with the FAA relative to Maintenance operations

Provide leadership and direction to the Shop Manager and Mechanics based on priorities established in coordination with the DO

Responsible for the maintenance conformity of customer aircraft within the manufacturer’s guidelines

Maintain a professional, efficient, and cordial manner at all times

Responsible for the electronic and legal maintenance logbook entries pertaining to the work performed in the shop

Ensure that all shop employees adhere to the duties and responsibilities outlined in the General Operations Manual and Aircraft Flight Manual for a mechanic position

Oversee/resolve any issues or discrepancies on the customer aircraft

Leads continual improvement efforts in all aspects of operations to achieve company goals and objectives

Responsible for ensuring that all work areas are kept in an orderly manner for maximum efficiency and safety
