R66 News Helicopter Pilot needed in Washington, DC
JOB Description
SKY Helicopters has an opening for a Robinson R66 ENG Pilot based in Washington, DC. This is a fulltime, salaried, scheduled 5 days / 40 hours per week position with on-call duties required for 2 weekends per month. There are 2 FT crews; you will alternate between an AM schedule 5:45AM - 2:00PM, and a PM schedule 2:00PM - 10:15PM. Pilot will be based at the Tipton Airport in Ft. Meade, MD.

JOB Requirements
Minimum requirements:
1000 hours TT Helicopters
500 hours PIC in Robinson Helicopters
SFAR 73 endorsement for R44 instruction
Experience with Washington SFRA
2nd Class Medical
RHC Safety course within the last 6 years
R66 and ENG Experience preferred but not required
Flight weight less than 225 lbs
Duties include Electronic News Gathering around the Washington DC market area. All new hires will receive company training through our FAA approved, Special Preparations Course that covers all aspects of ENG flight safety and newsgathering techniques.
