We are seeking seasonal A&P mechanics for the 2023 firefighting season, the aircraft base is located in Santa Ynez, CA
We operate the newest and lowest time Bell Medium airframes.
Duties:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on BHT 210
Maintain the aircraft to 135 standards
Your work environment will be in field conditions
Work as a team with the pilot and fuel truck driver to provide safe and airworthy aircraft for the customer
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Has previous experience maintaining a 205, 212, 210 or Huey II airframe in a USFS environment
Factory training would be beneficial
Strong electrical troubleshooting background
Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
Guaranteed 150 day minimum seasonal employment
