Hillsboro Aviation has an immediate opening to cover our B407 Eagle for wild-land firefighting activity on our current USFS and DOI CWN contract. This high-performance Type 3 aircraft has been extremely busy the last couple years as CWN platform performing bucket, cargo, repeater, PSD, recon and Helco missions. Hillsboro Aviation will guarantee 40 workdays (between mid August until the end of September - exact dates tbd).
The pilot will cover the assigned aircraft during the last part of the summer season based out of Hillsboro, OR until called out. Travel, accommodation and per diem are covered by Hillsboro Aviation. The CWN contract will be operated on a 12 on / 2 off schedule. Other flight activities could be assigned before or after the CWN contract period on an as-needed basis.
