Quad bike set in confined area - External load training @volomission
Setting the quad down in a confined area, watching the approach speed, the ground speed of the load needs to be a slow walking pace so you don't pass the target. Set yourself up early, you don't need to be making any corrections when you are close to the target if you can help it. Cushion it just before touch down. Important Points: Wheeled loads, try to eliminate sideward movements when setting down a wheeled load. You can bend hubs, blow out tires, or axles. Don't fixate on the load as you descend straight down, it's easy to do, but there is the chance that you will fixate and then follow every little swing, which just makes for more work or a missed target.
