PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 29, 2025 — Boeing [NYSE: BA] will produce four additional MH-139A Grey Wolf helicopters and provide related sustainment for the U.S. Air Force, marking its second production contract for the aircraft in five months. Following a $173 million award for eight aircraft in September, this recent contract increases the total value of the award to more than $262 million dollars.

Marignane, France, 24 July 2025 – Airbus Helicopters has started flight-testing the H160M Guépard. This militarised version of the H160 is being developed for the French Armed Forces as part of the Joint Light Helicopter programme. The flight test crew consisted of Samuel Chartier, H160M flight test pilot, and flight test engineers Nicolas Certain, Laurent Maruejols, and Alban Corpron. The H160M's maiden flight was celebrated during an official ceremony at the Company’s headquarters in France.

Alexandria, Va. (Sep. 26, 2025) – Vertical Aviation International (VAI) welcomes the recently implemented FAA policy on fall-protection harnesses used by utility line workers when performing human external cargo (HEC) activities. The policy expands operator options to include US government–accepted harnesses that meet standards recognized by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and accepted by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The change ensures uniformity, improving safety and supporting compliance with local, state, and federal rules.
