The FAA is proposing to modify the airspace over Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) in Florida. Under the proposed changes, existing flight paths would not change, but where pilots are required to interact with Air Traffic Control would expand. The airspace change is to better manage the complexity and volume of aviation activities in the area.
A virtual meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 5, from 5-7 p.m. Eastern to provide an opportunity for public comments on the proposal’s effect on local aviation operations.
