Madrid, October 1st, 2024 - Entrol, the manufacturer of EASA and FAA certified FNPT, FTD, and FFS flight simulators, has announced the sale of three advanced simulators to World Aviation Group in Madrid. This acquisition includes a generic en-1000x FNPT II, an Airbus A320 FNPT II MCC simulator, and a Bell 429 FNPT II MCC simulator, strengthening advanced helicopter training programs. The simulators are expected to be fully installed by the end of 2024 and operational by early 2025.
A comprehensive solution for pilot training
The three simulators will provide World Aviation Group with a complete training solution, covering everything from basic flight training to advanced helicopter courses. The en-1000x FNPT II is ideal for initial training, while the A320 is specifically designed for MCC courses and airline-focused training. The Bell 429 based simulator, on the other hand, will allow for complex helicopter training scenarios, providing students with realistic experiences that will prepare them for real-world flying conditions. As Fernando Gómez, spokesperson for World Aviation Group, notes, “This acquisition allows us to expand our training capabilities, offering our students the opportunity to train on cutting-edge simulators that significantly enrich their educational experience.”
Madrid: A strategic hub for pilot training
Madrid has emerged as one of the main reference points for pilot training in Europe. With operational bases at Cuatro Vientos Airport and Casarrubios Aerodrome, World Aviation Group has played a key role in attracting both national and international students seeking high-quality training. The expansion of their fleet and advanced facilities, now enhanced by Entrol's simulators, strengthens Madrid’s position as an attractive destination for aviation education. “We are committed to offering top-tier training that not only benefits our students but also contributes to the economic and educational development of the region,” says Fernando. “Our investment in technology and training resources reflects this dedication to strengthening competitiveness in the sector.”
Advanced visual technology for an immersive experience
All simulators are equipped with a 200ºx40º cylindrical visual system, providing an immersive and realistic training experience. The visual database includes key airports across the Iberian Peninsula, such as Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, and Porto, enabling pilots to train in highly realistic environments for both domestic and international operations.
Timely delivery and certification
The simulators are currently in the final stages of production, with installation expected to be completed by the end of 2024. Entrol’s ability to deliver advanced solutions on schedule highlights its commitment to customer satisfaction.
