The holiday season has begun, and with it begins the busiest time of the year for travel. According to the NBAA, independent research indicates that most companies using a business aircraft employ fewer than 500 people; the passengers on board are typically technical specialists, managers and other company employees; and a large portion of bizav flights are for humanitarian missions. The business aviation sector also contributes to the economy, supporting 1.2 million jobs and contributing $150 billion to the U.S. economy every year.
