Record breaking year for Power Flow with stage set for continued growth

Power Flow has made significant upgrades to its tuned exhaustPower Flow Systems shipped 322 of its market leading Tuned Exhaust Systems in 2023 - a new record. Over 30% (110) of these systems were the new LEES systems introduced just a few years ago. In all, there are now over 7,000 (7,043, to be precise) Power Flow Systems installed and flying on general aviation aircraft worldwide. Reflecting the popularity of the type, 310 of last year's shipments were destined for single engine Cessna aircraft, from the venerable -172 to the workhorse 200 series airframes. Power Flow Systems are now installed on 3,726 of these ubiquitous aircraft. Systems for the Piper Cherokee (PA28 series) came in 2nd, with 47 new systems shipping last year creating a 2023 total of 1,138 systems in service. The tally was rounded out by the continued popularity of the company's products for a variety of other aircraft, Mooney's, Grumman's, and Diamond's chief among them. But the numbers don't tell the whole story. According to Mr. Darren Tilman, Power Flow's President and Chief Technical Officer, the company has used the revenue generated to lay the foundation for future growth: "As the performance benefits our systems become more well-known and accepted, we anticipate steady growth in both volume and revenue. We are making the necessary investments in both manufacturing infrastructure and well-trained employees to support this growth. That is the best way I know of to assure the continued satisfaction of our Customers and the long term success of the company". A properly designed tuned exhaust system substantially improves the efficiency of an aircraft engine, allowing it to extract more power from each combustion cycle. Power Flow tuned exhaust systems are now FAA approved via STC for installation on 24 distinct aircraft types. They provide an immediate increase in top speed capability of 4-7 MPH, or the ability to fly at current cruise speeds saving up to 2.2 GPH, plus an additional 100-250 feet per minute in climb, and an increase of 2,000' - 5,000' in service ceiling.
