Guardian Mobility will display G6 Terminal at Heli-Expo

Anaheim, CA – Guardian Mobility is on quite the trajectory entering 2024.  The company is expanding its product line and received Iridium certification for both its G6 and G6-S terminals.

he G6 is the world’s first and only truly mid-band bi-directional 88/88 Kbps terminal in an all-in-one design.  The terminal ensures maximum user experience in end-to-end connectivity.  The G6-S terminal features the same capabilities and features, but allows for an external antenna configuration and is specifically aimed at the UAV/Drone and fixed-wing high-altitude market.

Certification allows for the G6 Certus® products and services to operate on the Iridium NEXT constellation, enabling faster global connectivity.  The transmission speed of 88kbps is four times the speed of any other Certus® 100 competitor and, therefore, offers video and imagery services.

Guardian has invested in a unique network architecture to provide automated airtime/billing services and secure, reliable communications from any location. “We can support applications such as live video, automated flight following, real-time images, health monitoring, and more while significantly lowering operational costs,” said Guardian Mobility COO Stephane Momy. “This product fills a gap in the mobile satellite communications market with the optimal bandwidth for its size, weight, and power.”

Guardian serves the aviation, military, government, and other market segments with a simple procurement process and straightforward customer service.  Airtime and service packages are customizable to fit individual needs, and an existing product suite featuring FDM, tracking, and communication capabilities is available.

About Guardian Mobility

More than just tracking, Guardian Mobility, empowers aircraft fleet managers and owner-operators with fundamental operational data to make timely decisions.

The company introduced its first portable GPS tracking device in 2002, delivering location and status information. Since then, the brand has developed solutions to facilitate global aircraft tracking, two-way text messaging and voice communications between the aircraft and the ground. The products are approved for government-mandated Automatic Flight Following (AFF) and are used by fleet operators worldwide for Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) to support Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) and Maintenance Operations Quality Assurance (MOQA) as part of a Safety Management System (SMS).

All Guardian Mobility devices, as well as third-party tracking products, are visible via the company’s web-based situational awareness command and control management tool called Axis.
