ASU TSO'd E3 NVG is Now Available to Order

E3 Goggle Featured in Hands-on Interactive Display at Heli Expo 2024

(BOISE, IDAHO) Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Inc. (ASU), a reputable provider with over 28 years of global experience in modifying aircraft for civil and military night vision operations, has officially released their TSO’d E3 NVG for orders. This cutting-edge technology will be prominently showcased in an interactive display at HAI’s Heli-Expo in Anaheim, CA, from February 26-29 at booth 2802.

"After years of research, development, and hard work by the entire ASU team, we are pleased to announce that we are taking orders for our TSO’d E3 NVG,” said ASU President Joseph Estrera. “We believe E3 will be a significant game changer in our industry. Bringing it to HAI Heli-Expo will allow industry professionals to see and feel the difference first-hand.”

The E3 goggle introduces several enhancements over the legacy aviation goggle that has existed for more than four decades. Key improvements include a 30% reduction in total head weight, alleviating neck strain. It features robust military-grade construction using durable aluminum and titanium materials. Intuitive adjustments further enable enhanced look-around viewing experiences. Notably, E3 maintains backward compatibility with existing ANVIS mounts and battery packs.

At HAI Heli-Expo 2024, attendees are encouraged to visit booth 2802 to explore E3 NVG's cutting-edge features through a hands-on interactive display. This unique opportunity allows industry professionals to directly compare E3 with the current ANVIS night vision goggle, experiencing the weight reduction and ergonomic advancements that set E3 apart.

"While we showcase E3's innovative features, we also want attendees to actively engage with the technology," noted Vice President of Sales Dan Meyer. "Our hands-on interactive display offers a tangible experience, allowing visitors to appreciate E3's capabilities and its impact on redefining industry standards."

ASU remains committed to both advancing innovation and providing education in the field of aviation night vision. They are honored to share that Tony Tsantles, ASU’s Director of Operations, has been selected as an instructor for a Professional Education Course (PEC) featured at HAI Heli-Expo. The course titled "E3 NVG – Enlightening Your Future," covers new night vision goggle technology and safety in nighttime aviation. Attendees will enhance their awareness of NVG capabilities, understand myths in accident case studies, and learn solutions for spatial disorientation. Tsantles is a retired U.S. Army Blackhawk Instructor Pilot with over 23 years of experience in aviation both civil and military. Those interested can complete their registration through the HAI Heli-Expo website. The course will be offered Monday, February 26, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

ASU invites all Heli Expo attendees to booth 2802, where they can actively participate in the evolution of night vision technology and explore the advanced features that position E3 at the forefront of industry innovation. E3 orders placed at the expo are eligible for two years of complimentary 180-day inspection service.
