All Cirrus service centers achieve FAA certification

All four of the Cirrus Aircraft company-operated Service Centers have earned FAA Part 145 certification, which involves the maintenance, inspection and alteration of aircraft and related products. This certification ensures that the programs, systems and methods of compliance with regulatory requirements are reviewed evaluated and tested regularly. The FAA regulations specify who can perform maintenance and approve an aircraft, airframe or engines for return to service after the maintenance has been completed. "Cirrus Aircraft's company-operated Service Center expansion has created more opportunities for SR Series and Vision Jet owners to service their aircraft," Cirrus Aircraft CEO Zean Nielsen said. The SR Series and Vision Jet company-operated Service Centers in Duluth and Knoxville received the certification in 2021. The McKinney location received its certification in 2022 and the Kissimmee location received its FAA certification in 2023. "Today, we celebrate the diligent work by our team to achieve FAA Part 145 certification," Nielsen said. "Our goal is to continue growing our global service capacity through both our authorized network and company-operated facilities to ensure we deliver a world-class ownership experience."
