Carolina Avionics and Aircraft Interiors expands with business aircraft mobile interior service

Carolina Avionics andamp; Aircraft Interiors announces the addition of its mobile interior refurbishment service at the company's Stafford Regional Airport regional facility (RMN) in Northern Virginia. Travel to customers' business aircraft is available as required.The company recently completed the custom installation of new cabin carpet and cockpit flooring in a 2008 Citation Sovereign - performed on-site at the business jet's maintenance location and avoiding costly repositioning of the aircraft to the interior facility at Stafford. The project was completed plane-side in 4 days to minimize downtime in coordination with the customer's maintenance schedule. The Northern Virginia location is currently expanding to include full cabinetry refurbishment, sheet metal fabrication, and composite component capabilities, in combination with existing interior and upholstery services. The Stafford operation focuses on business jets, King Airs and other turboprops, and corporate and military/government fixed wing, helicopters, and special missions aircraft. Located just south of the Washington, DC, metropolitan area, the Carolina Avionics andamp; Aircraft Interiors facility and mobile capability at RMN Stafford is outside of the Washington Special Flight Rules Area and central to the East Coast, including the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, and New England. Headquartered in Salisbury, North Carolina, at Mid-Carolina Regional Airport (RUQ), Carolina Avionics andamp; Aircraft Interiors has been specializing in custom interior and cabinetry refurbishments and avionics installations in executive and general aviation aircraft for a combined 51 years.
