Recipients of Training Scholarships and Scholarship Awards given at SandD Conference

The NBAA Schedulers andamp; Dispatchers Conference started this week in Nashville and the recipients of the Scholarship Awards and Training Scholarships have been announced. The committee announced that $27,500 in scholarship funds will be given to individuals that are looking to advance their aviation careers through continuing education. This year, AC-U-KWIK, Atlantic Aviation, Lane Aviation, NBAA, Signature Flight Support, SkyPlan and Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc, have donated funding toward the awards. The recipients of the 2023 NBAA Sandamp;D monetary awardsAndrea Kayson Jonathan Tolbert Joy Flowers Bryce Yatsu Sean Whisenhunt. The Sandamp;D Scholarship Program offers cash grants to be used through many professional development initiatives. Over $750,000 has been awarded through the program since 1997. The NBAA Sandamp;D Committee offers scholarships through two programs to promote professional and career development for business aviation schedulers and dispatchers. The Sandamp;D Training Scholarship Program was launched in 2004 to offer opportunities to scholarship recipients to get access to hands-on-teaching initiatives. The training awards are granted in conjunction with annual sponsors.
