NBAA Appoints New Board Member Jennifer Alessio

The NBAA announced the new appointee to the association's Board of Directors. Jennifer Alessio will serve until the October 2023 annual meeting of members. After this she will be eligible for election by the membership to a full, three-year term. Alessio was serving as the director of aviation for Hewlett Packard. Here, Alessio was responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of the company's in-house flight department. Before joining HHPE, she spent 16 years at McKesson Corporation as the director of finance and analytics for the Aviation and Corporate Security Department. "We are pleased to welcome Jennifer to the NBAA Board of Directors," board chair Monte Koch said. "Her experience in business aviation gives her a strong understanding of our industry and insights into how NBAA can best help its members position themselves for future growth and success." Alessio has extensive experience in business aviation management. She earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Georgie Southern University. She is currently serving as treasurer on the board of the Lee A. Archer Jr. Red Tail Youth Flying Program, which brings aviation opportunities to youths from areas that have traditionally been underrepresented in aviation and other STEM careers.
