Bombardier announces NetJets as first fleet launch customer for Global 8000

Bombardier announced its first fleet launch customer for the Global 8000 aircraft. NetJets, a long-time customer of Bombardier, will be the first fleet launch customer for the Global 8000, ordering four new jets and converting eight previous orders. With a top speed of Mach 0.94, the Global 8000 is one of the world's fastest and longest-range purpose-built jets. The jet was announced at EBACE this year and has a range of 8,000 nautical miles. This business aircraft adds to NetJet's large fleet of over 850 aircraft, the recent order for four valued at $312 million. NetJet also converted eight previous orders for Bombardier aircraft to orders for the Global 8000. NetJet adds these new aircraft to the previous order for the Global 7500, as well as those currently in service. The current fleet of Global 7500 and 8000 aircraft will also be getting an upgrade from Bombardier. The Global 8000 features the largest cabin size in the industry and the lowest cabin altitude for its class, at 2,900 feet when flying at 41,000 feet. The cabin also includes advanced HEPA filter technology for fast air replacement with Bombardier Pur Air. The large cabin includes a Principal Suite and a full-size bed. Passengers can enjoy entertainment features like Bombardier's l'Opéra directional audio sound system and available 4K monitor.Executive Cabin option in a Global 7500 and 8000 NetJet is planning to expand its fleet and elevate the customer experience with this Bombardier fleet launch.
