Textron becomes first aircraft OEM to achieve NATA Sustainability recognition

All 20 of Textron Aviation's service centers around the world have achieved certification NATA Sustainability Standard for Aviation Businesses. This makes the company the first aircraft original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to receive this certification for sustainable practices in use and the largest company with multiple locations to self-certify each site."This recognition affirms that we are on the right path towards achieving our sustainability goals," said Brian Rohloff, senior vice president, Customer Support. "We remain steadfast in our commitment to a more sustainable future for our employees, communities and customers."Textron Aviation recently entered into a 2o-year contract with Evergy, a Kansas-based energy company, to utilize the state's renewable wind energy to power nearly all of the company's Wichita facilities.
