Atlantic Aviation to give $40 million upgrade to Boca Raton FBO, signs 40-year lease

Atlantic Aviation has signed a new 40-year lease agreement at the Boca Raton Airport (BCT), which includes the FBO operator committing $40 million to upgrade, enhance, and expand existing airport infrastructure over the next seven years.Planned infrastructure upgrades at the Boca Raton Airport will include the addition of approximately 52,000 square feet of new hangar space and 12,000 square feet of new shop and office space; the milling and paving of 710,000 square feet of existing ramp space; the addition of 50,000 square feet of new ramp space; a renovation of the executive terminal office space; rehabilitation of the vehicle parking areas; and construction of a new 90,000-gallon fuel farm."Atlantic Aviation is committed to Boca Raton for the long-haul, and we're proud to be participating in the city's efforts to stimulate further economic development and attract new business," said Tim Bannon, chief operating officer of Atlantic Aviation.As Boca Raton continues to see growing demand for private air travel, these projects will expand the 41-acre campus.
