Paragon Flight adds Piper P100i to trainer aircraft fleet

Paragon Flight Training, a training academy based at Page Field (FMY) in Fort Myers, Florida, has received the first of 10 Piper P100i aircraft slated for delivery this year.An additional 40 Piper aircraft are expected to join the Paragon Flight fleet over the next five years as part of the company's efforts to train more pilots in response to the global pilot shortage.The Piper P100i is a modernized version of the Archer, which has been a staple in the flight training industry for 30 years.In regards to the fleet expansion, Paragon Flight President and owner Christopher Schoensee said, "It follows our groundbreaking in January for an expanded 9,000 square-foot learning center on Page Field and brings us one aircraft closer to our goal of tripling our current fleet with the additional purchase of up to 50 Piper aircraft by the end of 2027."Paragon Flight has operated in the pilot training space for over 16 years, offering commercial, military, professional, and recreational pilot training through aircraft and simulator technology.The company is in the process of a 28,000-combined-square-foot expansion slated for completion in June 2022.
