Jackson Jet, based in Boise, has purchased Phoenix-based Swift Aviation to expand operations at the Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).Operations at Sky Harbor are expected to begin later this month. when Jackson Jet will rebrand Swift Aviation. This will be the second FBO to operate under Jackson Jet, as it joins the current Jackson Jet Center facility at the Boise Airport.Swift Aviation offers a terminal for private flights, fueling, maintenance, and parts. A series of upgrades could be in the works for the Phoenix location. The PHX facility maintains an 18,000 square foot terminal and over 100,000 square feet of hangar space."We're always interested in ways to grow our footprint and bring top-shelf services to a wider customer base," said Jeff Jackson, CEO of Jackson Jet. "We're excited the right opportunity came along to both grow ourselves and the services we offer our customers at Sky Harbor."Jackson Jet also operates a maintenance facility in Sun Valley.
