With a Monday night announcement looming from Gulfstream Aerospace, there are reports online that a big announcement could bring news of the development of two new models of aircraft.
The Air Current first reported last week that the jet maker could soon announce the development of a revamped G400 model as well as a G800.
If that announcement comes to fruition it would come one week before the kickoff of the NBAA BACE 2021 Convention in Las Vegas, perhaps deflating any news from competitors such as Bombardier and Dassault.
It also comes as the G700 makes its way to the market. FlightGlobal reports that Gulfstream declined to comment on the report from The Air Current, noting that the initial report does not name its sources but that such a move would fill gaps in the current Gulfstream offerings.
Gulfstream's announcement is set for 8 p.m. EDT Monday, Oct. 4, on its website.
