Cirrus Aircraft is expanding with two new locations in Central Florida at Kissimmee Gateway Airport (KISM) and Orlando Executive Airport (KORL). Dubbed Cirrus Orlando, the locations are scheduled to be operational in early 2022.Cirrus Orlando will offer flight training, aircraft maintenance, aircraft management and sales for its SR Series piston aircraft and the Vision Jet. Student pilots at Cirrus Orlando will also receive personalized flight training from ground school and flight simulation to in-flight training in G6 SR22 aircraft.Zean Nielsen, CEO of Cirrus, emphasized that the company is excited to open the Cirrus Orlando doors to those just beginning their aviation journey.Cirrus Aircraft is investing $3.4 million into Cirrus Orlando and will be creating numerous job opportunities, as well."This Central Florida investment will help our economy become more resilient. In addition, this will provide high-value, high-wage jobs," said Kissimmee City Mayor Olga González.
