Bell Textron is celebrating 35 years of being the only vertical lift aircraft manufacturer in Canada. Founded in 1986 in Mirabel, Qc, Canada, the facility has manufactured, assembled, and flight tested several civil and commercial aircraft.The facility began its first aircraft production with the Bell 206B Jet Ranger. Bell has produced more than 5,600 commercial aircraft operating around the world, with 1,000 in the Canadian market today.Bell Textron has helped produce and support the Royal Canadian Air Force's Griffon fleet, the Canadian Coast Guard and the Sûreté du Québec.
