Midwest Blade Tech and Rotorcraft Repair & Manufacturing Announce Strategic Merger

LOWELL, Ind. — Midwest Aerospace, Ltd. is pleased to announce the strategic merger of its newest company, Midwest Blade Tech, with Rotorcraft Repair & Manufacturing, creating a stronger organization dedicated to delivering industry-leading rotor blade repair, engineering, and manufacturing services.

The merger combines Midwest Blade Tech's customer-first approach with Rotorcraft Repair & Manufacturing's decades of rotor blade expertise and extensive FAA-approved engineering repair capabilities. Together, the companies will offer customers expanded repair capacity, broader technical resources, and enhanced support for a wide range of rotor blade models.

"Midwest Aerospace created Midwest Blade Tech to fill a significant need within the rotor blade industry," said Joseph L. Giannini, Vice President of Midwest Aerospace. "From the beginning, our goal was to provide customers with exceptional quality, responsive service, and dependable rotor blade support. Rotorcraft Repair & Manufacturing has established an outstanding reputation through its workmanship, extensive FAA-approved engineering repairs, and willingness to go above and beyond for its customers. Bringing Midwest Blade Tech and Rotorcraft together allows us to combine the strengths of both organizations and achieve far more than either company could accomplish independently."

The merger expands the capabilities of both organizations by combining experienced personnel, engineering expertise, advanced repair solutions, and increased production capacity. Customers will benefit from a broader range of repair services, improved responsiveness, and the confidence of working with a single organization committed to quality, safety, and reliability.

The combined organization also strengthens Midwest Aerospace's exclusive offering of Dragon Skin Xtreme (DSX), the proprietary rotor blade leading-edge protection coating developed by Rotorcraft Repair & Manufacturing. Proven in some of the world's harshest operating environments, DSX provides exceptional resistance to erosion and corrosion while extending blade service life. By integrating Rotorcraft Repair & Manufacturing into Midwest Blade Tech, customers now have a single source for rotor blade repair, engineering, overhaul, and advanced protective coatings.

"This merger is not simply about combining two businesses," Joseph added. "It is about bringing together two teams that share the same values—quality workmanship, uncompromising safety, technical excellence, and a commitment to doing what is right for the customer. Together, we are creating a stronger organization that will provide greater value and broader support to the rotorcraft industry."

The merger represents another milestone in Midwest Aerospace's continued investment in expanding its maintenance, repair, and overhaul capabilities while strengthening support for helicopter operators worldwide.
