Southeast Aerospace (SEA) Delivers Bell 505 to Flagler County Sheriff Office at APSCON 2026

SEA, a leader in law enforcement aircraft modifications, is pleased to deliver a mission ready Bell 505 to the Flagler County Sheriff Office (FCSO). The aircraft was modified to include an expanded instrument panel with the MacroBlue MB15W NVIS/Touchscreen monitor, a Technisonic TDFM-9100 tactical radio, a three-place PS Engineering PAC-45 mission audio distribution system, and a Garmin GTX-345 ADS-B Out/In transponder. For ISR operations, SEA installed the Trakka mission suite to include the TC-300 EO/IR sensor, TC100 Mapping Computer, TLX Searchlight and TrakkaStream for Video Downlink capability. The full cockpit was also upgraded and certified for NVIS operations via existing STC, held by Aero Dynamix Inc. (ADI). 

SEA also provisioned the Bell 505 for the MED-PAC EMS Lite system per an existing STC. As the name implies, this upgrade brings a lightweight EMS ability to the Bell 505 aircraft, replacing the copilot seat and the aft seats. When employed, with the EMS upgrade, the aircraft can carry a single patient. This additional tool will allow FCSO to provide additional support in emergency situations to airlift injured officers and civilians as needed.

The new capabilities provided by these aircraft upgrades translate to positive changes in public safety. Law enforcement agencies can expect to see an increase in overall arrests due to the ability to find, identify, and follow potential suspects. The new upgraded aircraft systems also provide much improved search and rescue capabilities to the agency. Those who are lost, incapacitated, or otherwise would be out of reach, can also be found. It is for these reasons that SEA is excited to be able to serve the communities that we all live in. 

SEA has been fortunate to modify over 50 aircraft for law enforcement agencies across the US. Some of these include Michigan, Connecticut, multiple agencies in Florida, and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). SEA is also pleased to work with other great integrators across the state to install STC’d mission consoles and sensor mounts. Today, they have a large number of their ISR products in service all over the country. SEA has also recently added EASA and TCCA validation to most of our STCs while also adding a console STC for the Kodiak 100/200 aircraft.

SEA will be displaying the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Bell 505 at APSCON 2026 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida starting Wednesday July 15^th to Friday July 17^th.
