BELL SHOWCASES ADVANCED VERTICAL LIFT SOLUTIONS AND REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO THE ASIA-PACIFIC REGION AT SINGAPORE AIRSHOW 2026
Singapore Airshow (3 February 2026) – Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, kicks off 2026 with a strong presence at the Singapore Airshow, one of Asia's premier aerospace and defense exhibitions. Building on its 90-year legacy of innovation, Bell continues to demonstrate its commitment to advancing aviation capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region.
At booth #A-Q01 in the Changi Exhibition Centre, Bell will showcase a diverse lineup of rotorcraft solutions, ranging from proven platforms to cutting-edge military innovations. Featured at the booth are the Bell 505, a next-generation helicopter training platform, alongside 1/8 scale models of the U.S. Army’s revolutionary MV-75 Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) and the versatile Bell 429.
BELL 505: PROVEN PERFORMANCE IN THE ASIA-PACIFIC REGION AND BEYOND
The Bell 505 is one of the most advanced short light single-engine helicopters available today. Powered by the Safran Arrius 2R engine with dual-channel full authority digital engine control (FADEC) and equipped with the Garmin G1000H NXi avionics suite, the Bell 505 delivers exceptional situational awareness and operational efficiency. With over 500 units delivered globally, the Bell 505 has proven its reliability across diverse missions. In the Asia-Pacific region, it is trusted by leading operators such as the Republic of Korea Armed Forces, Japan Coast Guard, and Indonesian Navy.
BELL 429: VERSATILITY MEETS PERFORMANCE
The Bell 429 sets the standard for multi-mission capability. Designed for corporate transport, helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS), and law enforcement operations, the aircraft combines speed, range, and instrument flight rules (IFR) capability with unmatched flexibility, safety, and durability. With over 500 Bell 429s operating worldwide, the platform has consistently demonstrated its value in demanding missions and challenging environments.
MV-75 FLRAA: THE FUTURE OF AIR ASSAULT
The MV-75 FLRAA represents a groundbreaking leap in vertical lift technology. Selected by the U.S. Army in December 2022 to fill the medium-lift requirement, this next-generation tiltrotor aircraft is designed to revolutionize military aviation. Delivering twice the speed and range of current assault helicopters, the MV-75 FLRAA incorporates advanced technology to enhance maneuverability, survivability, and mission adaptability. Expected to enter service around 2030, the MV-75 FLRAA will redefine multi-domain operations. INTRODUCING VERIS: IMMERSIVE TRAINING TECHNOLOGY Bell is also debuting the Veris Virtual Reality Flight Simulator in Asia-Pacific for the first time. Developed by Bell affiliate TRU Simulation + Training Inc., the Veris simulator offers Bell 505 pilots high-fidelity training with immersive visuals and a realistic, tactile cockpit environment that replicates real-world flying scenarios. This advanced training technology underscores Bell’s commitment to enhancing pilot proficiency and operational safety.
