Claude Vuichard joins Fred North's Mentoring Program as Ambassador to Improve Global Helicopter Safety

Following the Heli-Expo 2024 in Anaheim, (called today Verticon), Fred North presented his mentoring program to Claude Vuichard, president of the VRASF (Vuichard Recovery Aviation Safety Foundation), who immediately agreed to become an ambassador for this global helicopter safety program. Fred's mentoring program can already count on highly professional ambassadors such as Gerold Biner, former CEO and Air-Zermatt rescue pilot for over 35 years, and Olivier Genesse, Airbus test pilot and lead test pilot for the new H160 certification.

Fred's organization then matches the appropriate mentor with the mentee. The mentee can then contact the assigned mentor for completely confidential advice to increase significantly their operational safety. The program also allows mentors to guide mentees in their careers with a solid network and advice, even If mentees want to change the company or are starting a new kind of operation.

Claude, who as a former rescue pilot on behalf of Air Zermatt and for 25 years SAR pilot on behalf of the Swiss government, flew for decades at all limits in terms of performance, weather and human capacity, adds that this mentoring will prevent many helicopter accidents in the future and save many lives.
