Trakka USA Defence and Asian Aerospace Sign MOU for Camera Assembly and Production in the Philippines
Bradenton, Florida, October 30, 2024 – Trakka USA Defence, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) based in Bradenton, Florida, is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Asian Aerospace in the Philippines. This MOU marks the beginning of a strategic partnership to establish in-country assembly and production of TrakkaCam TC-300 and TC-300M series electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) camera systems, as well as local maintenance capabilities for these cutting-edge systems.
The partnership aims to support key Philippine government programs, including helicopter upgrades for the Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard, for both airborne and shipborne platforms. This move underscores Trakka USA Defence’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with the Philippines while creating jobs and economic opportunities for the local community.
The TC-300 and TC-300M series are part of Trakka’s next-generation surveillance systems, renowned for their rugged, gyro-stabilized design and multi-sensor capabilities. These systems provide high-definition imagery and mission-critical data in real-time, ensuring operational effectiveness in day and night conditions across air, land, and sea applications. With features like 4-axis active gyro-stabilization, integrated IMU/INS for geo-location, and flexible display options such as picture-in-picture and split screen, the TC-300 series delivers superior situational awareness in the most demanding environments.
