Cirrus earns Brazil certification for the G3 Vision Jet

Cirrus announced on Aug. 6 that its G3 Vision Jet has received type certificate approval from Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), adding another country to the jet's growing global footprint. The next chapter for the Vision Jet The latest addition to the Vision Jet line was first announced back in February of 2026. The certification allows the Vision Jet G3 to be delivered and operated in Brazil. Cirrus claims the Vision Jet is one of the most successful new aircraft programs in general aviation with more than 700 deliveries worldwide. The certification marks another step in the aircraft's global growth story. What's new on the G3 Featuring the signature V-tail design, the G3 addition was designed with over 30 refinements to improve the flight experience for pilots and passengers. The interior of the G3 jet expands the seating option to six adults and one child with the addition of a third-row bench seat. All G3 seats feature a hand-wrapped, hardshell back with personal device mounts and tray tables. The pilot and co-pilot seats can now be adjusted to their full aft range, while the middle and third-row seats remain modular and can be removed or installed as needed. The Perspective Touch+ flight deck was added to the G3 Vision Jet reduce pilot workload, increase safety and maximize productivity. It includes ATC Datalink, Automatic Database Updates, Alerts-Linked Checklists, Taxiway Routing and 3D SafeTaxi. Cirrus states that the company's signature halo light will distinguish the aircraft on the runway and that the jet's new wingtip and landing lights are 2.7 times brighter. The ATC Datalink is a two-way system that allows pilots and ATC to communicate non-urgent messages through text as an alternative to radio. What's next Brazil's approval gives Cirrus another foothold in a region known for strong business and personal aviation activity. Brazilian customers can look forward to their aircraft being delivered soon, while U.S. and Canadian customers should look forward to the Vision Jet G3 receiving type validation in the future.
