Mente Group adds a triple threat to their roster: Zach Ungerleider hired as new Director of Technical Services
Mente Group has added Zach Ungerleider as Director of Technical Services. His background covers ground that most people in similar roles don't: an Aandamp;P certificate, real DOM experience on Citations, maintenance engineering work at Textron, and aftermarket sales at both Textron and Honeywell. Fifteen years, 36 aircraft models, and a résumé that covers more bases than a utility infielder.Zach also carries a private ticket with instrument and high-performance endorsements and an NBAA Top 40 Under 40. He was Director of Maintenance on multiple Citations before moving into the technical weeds at Textron Aviation, where he completed MSG-3 certification and Maintenance Initial Training for the Sovereign+ and Latitude through FlightSafety. After that, he represented Honeywell's MSP portfolio for the HTF7000, TFE731, and CFE738 families. In other words, this is someone who has touched the aircraft, sold the programs, and managed the maintenance operations. A trifecta that's hard to find.Steve Main, Mente's CRO, put it succinctly: "He understands the operational and ownership challenges our clients face and brings the hands-on knowledge and industry relationships that will strengthen the value we deliver every day." Which is exactly the kind of hire that makes sense for a group doing the volume Mente does. Their clients don't need another salesperson who learned the technical sheet last week. They need Zach.Ungerleider is also finishing his MBA at Embry-Riddle, which tells you he's still growing. And clearly, so is Mente.
