Wheels Up and Air Partner used to be two distinct options for aircraft owners shopping for managed programs or leaseback arrangements. That's no longer the case. Wheels Up announced Wednesday that it has completed a global brand transition, bringing Air Partner's UK and international private jet charter operations fully under the Wheels Up name, consolidating what were effectively two competing platforms into one. The change affects customers worldwide, including in the US, where the transition began in January. This rebrand goes well beyond the cosmetic. Wheels Up is pitching a unified service model: from membership and private charter to group flights and hybrid private/commercial itineraries via its Delta Air Lines partnership. The structure is set up to strengthen accountability by placing dedicated sales and service teams across the full customer journey. "This is an important milestone for Wheels Up and for our customers," said Kristen Lauria, Chief Marketing Officer. "Bringing our U.K. and rest of world private jet and group charter services under the Wheels Up brand makes it easier for customers, wherever they are in the world, to access our full breadth of aviation solutions through a single, trusted relationship. It also allows us to build on more than 65 years of Air Partner heritage as a core strength of the Wheels Up platform." What This Means for Owners and Buyers Regardless of your location, if Air Partner was on your shortlist, your evaluation now starts and ends with Wheels Up. Owners already in a leaseback or placement relationship with Air Partner should confirm contract continuity under the new brand. For buyers weighing fractional ownership, full ownership, or a jet card program, the consolidation means Wheels Up can now pitch a single global solution spanning North America and Europe. Fleet utilization data previously attributed to Air Partner will also roll up under Wheels Up, giving the market a cleaner read on combined demand.
