Eve Air Mobility completes 50 test flights of eVTOL prototype
Embraer subsidiary, Eve Air Mobility, has announced that it has completed 50 test flights of its full-scale engineering prototype.
The flights have been used to generate data on the aircraft's performance and are considered essential in developing Eve's conforming prototypes and the commercial aircraft. The eVTOL aircraft first flew on Dec. 19, 2025 and has accumulated more than two hours of flight time. Eve claims the fast pace of testing validates the performance and operational capability of its eVTOL.
"Reaching 50 successful test flights with our engineering prototype is more than a technical milestone. It is clear evidence of the maturity of our program and the strength of the solutions we are building," said Eve CEO Johann Bordais. "Eve is uniquely positioned to deliver not only a high-performance eVTOL aircraft but also aftermarket services, operational and airspace solutions that customers and cities will require to deploy urban air mobility at scale."

The company's product development process is based on Embraer methodology. It is an integrated approach that combines aircraft development with solutions designed to assist in preparing for urban aviation.
Eve will now expand its flight envelope evaluations and will gradually increase forward speed. These tests will be used to evaluate energy management, controllability and stability, noise and vibration, with the goal of full transition flights later in 2026.
