Business Aviation Group, LLC ("BA Group") and Aviation Property Network ("APN") today announced a strategic collaboration with X-1 to support the development of an integrated platform connecting aviation operations, real estate, and infrastructure data. This collaboration reflects a shared vision to modernize how aviation real estate is identified, evaluated, and transacted, while improving the connection between operational activity and the physical assets that support it.BA Group will contribute its experience in aviation real estate advisory, development, and transaction execution, while APN will serve as a foundational marketplace and data layer within the broader platform. Together, these capabilities are expected to align with X-1 Property, creating a more cohesive system for managing aviation facilities, development opportunities, and asset performance.APN has been purpose-built to provide visibility into aviation properties across the United States, including hangars, FBO facilities, and development land. Through this collaboration, APN's marketplace and data infrastructure will be further integrated with operational workflows and infrastructure intelligence, supporting more informed decision-making across the aviation ecosystem. The combined effort is focused on addressing a growing disconnect within the industry. As demand for aviation infrastructure continues to increase, operators, developers, and airports are often constrained by limited visibility into available capacity, fragmented data, and a lack of coordination between operations and real estate planning.By aligning BA Group's advisory and development expertise with APN's data platform and X-1's operational technology, the collaboration is designed to bridge that gap—linking real-time operational activity with real estate availability, development pipelines, and long-term infrastructure planning. "This is about bringing together the physical and operational sides of aviation into a single, connected framework," said Iver Retrum, CEO of BA Group. "For too long, aviation real estate has operated independently from the systems that drive daily operations. By aligning these elements, we can create a more transparent, efficient, and scalable environment for the industry."The collaboration also supports the continued evolution of APN beyond a traditional listing platform, positioning it as part of a broader system of record for aviation real estate, availability, and utilization.Initial components of this integrated approach will be introduced at the NBAA Schedulers andamp; Dispatchers Conference, with further platform development and expanded capabilities expected throughout 2026.
