Daher to showcase Kodiak aircraft family at VERTICON 2026 as force multipliers
Daher Aircraft announced on Wednesday that it make its first exhibitor appearance at the annual VERTICON show for vertical flight.
The company will highlight the Kodiak 100 and Kodiak 900 as fixed-wing aircraft meant to complement helicopter fleets. It states the turboprops can serve as a force multiplier for law enforcement, public safety and government operations by improving mission capability and reducing operational costs."Operationally and economically, the Kodiak 100 and Kodiak 900 are extremely effective aircraft," said Paul Carelli, senior director of multi-missions and business development for the Americas. "They provide agencies with extended surveillance capability at a fraction of the cost of helicopters, while integrating seamlessly into their existing aviation units' ground infrastructure."
Daher acquired the Kodiak 100 in 2019 and later launched the Kodiak 900. The company focused on multi-mission markets like law enforcement. Approximately one-third of yearly Kodiak sales are from multi-mission customers.

The aircraft family has an endurance of seven to eight hours and a steady platform that the company claims can be flown by experienced and new pilots alike. The Kodiak's average direct operating costs are approximately $400 per hour, including fuel. There is potential for lower costs under certain Part 91 maintenance programs.
