jetAVIVA plans strategic shift and focus on Brazil's business aviation market

jetAVIVA announced on Thursday that it will be increasing its focus on Brazil as part of its expansion plans. The company states that Brazil has emerged as one of the most dynamic markets in the business aviation sector. JetAVIVA claims the company has over 1,100 business jets, ranking it second only to the U.S. in fleet size. Its operational fleet is the second-largest in the world outside of the U.S. "Brazil represents a strategic priority for jetAVIVA as we build on decades of industry experience," said CEO Emily Deaton. "With one of our own leading this effort - a professional who knows the region deeply and brings unparalleled insight and relationships - we are ideally positioned to meet strong demand and deliver the specialized, client-centric service our customers expect." The company states that the effort will be led by managing director Timon Huber, a native Brazilian and a 40-year veteran of Embraer. His time will be spent between jetAVIVA offices in Fort Lauderdale and Rio de Janeiro to provide the best service to clients in the region, as well as continue to serve as the firm's primary contact for all Central and South American countries. Rzonca has been instrumental in supporting one of the Embraer-focused sales teams alongside President Ryan Scott. In his new role, he will lead the company's entry-level Phenom 100 sales efforts. "Egan's OEM background and data-driven approach have elevated our entire Embraer program," said Scott. "His deep knowledge of the Embraer market is a major reason our clients continue to see exceptional results."
