Cirrus introduces new Generation 3 Vision Jet

Cirrus has announced the new Generation 3 (G3) Vision Jet as the latest addition to its jet product line. The company states that the Vision Jet is the first single-engine personal jet and is the best-selling jet in the aviation market, with over 700 delivered worldwide. Featuring the signature V-tail design, the G3 addition was designed with over 30 refinements to improve the flight experience for pilots and passengers.The interior of the G3 jet expands the seating option to six adults and one child with the addition of a third-row bench seat. All G3 seats feature a hand-wrapped, hardshell back with personal device mounts and tray tables. The pilot and co-pilot seats can now be adjusted to their full aft range, while the middle and third-row seats remain modular and can be removed or installed as needed. The Perspective Touch+ flight deck was added to the G3 Vision Jet reduce pilot workload, increase safety and maximize productivity. It includes ATC Datalink, Automatic Database Updates, Alerts-Linked Checklists, Taxiway Routing and 3D SafeTaxi. Cirrus states that the company's signature halo light will distinguish the aircraft on the runway and that the jet's new wingtip and landing lights are 2.7 times brighter. The ATC Datalink is a two-way system that allows pilots and ATC to communicate non-urgent messages through text as an alternative to radio.
