Maven Engineering Corporation is proud to announce the hiring of Tyrell Mayfield, Colonel USAF, Retired, as Director of Strategic Development. Mayfield's position will have global reach and will leverage his lengthy Air Force career to enhance Maven's key relationships in the field.With over 32 years of distinguished service in international relations, operations, policy analysis, and intergovernmental coordination, Mayfield brings expertise and key relationships to Maven's executive team. In his new role, Mayfield will drive Maven's global strategy and will focus on deepening relationships with international partners, identifying emerging opportunities, and expanding Maven's international business operations.Most recently, Mayfield served as a Foreign Policy Advisor at Headquarters, U.S. Air Force, where he prepared senior leaders for engagements with allied and partner nations. He brings strong relationships across the Department of Defense and Department of State and a deep understanding of intergovernmental coordination to Maven's expansive network.A recognized researcher, Mayfield's accomplishments include multiple writing awards, a proven publication record in peer-reviewed journals and online platforms, and as co-editor for a book examining the changing character of the military profession and the role of ethics in the twenty-first century military, titled Redefining the Modern Military: The Intersection of Profession and Ethics.
