Edelweiss announces new cabin for Airbus A350 designed for long-haul flights
??(Edelweiss Economy class seats)Edelweiss has announced a new cabin for the Airbus A350 that is designed to prioritize a comfortable long-haul experience.
The company states that it used the motto more room to feel good in designing the cabin to prioritize relaxation with high-quality materials, a calming color palette and state-of-the-art technology. The aircraft livery of dark red and blue is reflected in the interior with various shades of blue. This color scheme is reduced in comparison to the previous cabin. Edelweiss used reduced forms, clean lines and selective patterns define the cabin's appearance.
"With the new Airbus A350, we seized the opportunity to rethink our entire cabin product and develop it consistently with our guests' well-being in mind," says Edelweiss CEO Bernd Bauer. "Our aim was to create a space that exudes tranquility, is of high quality, and clearly positions itself as a premium product. The new cabin is a logical evolution of our design and represents modern comfort, Swiss quality, and a contemporary long-haul holiday flight experience."??(Premium Economy class seats)
The seats in the economy cabin offer approximately three centimeters more legroom compared to the previous cabin, as well as a greater seat tilt angle. The Premium Economy features 28 seats in a 2-3-2 configuration with approximately one meter of legroom. Business class is in a 1-2-1 configuration to give every passenger direct aisle access. Half of the seats are designed as double seats and all can be converted into a flat bed for a restful sleep. The Business Suite features closable doors with seats that can be fully converted into a spacious, flat bed. The suites have 32 in monitors for entertainment and the middle suites have room dividers for guests traveling together.

All travel classes will have access to free high-speed internet with Starlink, 4K screens with Bluetooth audio connectivity and an in-flight entertainment system with over 400 films and series. Premium Economy seats, Business seats and Business suites will have USB-C and USB-A ports and be provided with noise-canceling headphones.
The first aircraft with the new cabin will enter service in December 2026 and customers will be start booking flights starting in summer 2026. Five more converted aircraft will follow in 2027.?(Business Suite class seats)
