Elfly Group, developer of the all-electric amphibious aircraft NOEMI, has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreement with UrbanLink, a U.S.-based zero-emission mobility company.Urbanlink is currently developing an integrated zero-emission transport network that can transport passengers across air, sea and ground. Initial hubs for the network include Miami, Los Angeles and San Juan. The agreement includes a soft 10+10 order for the NOEMI electric amphibious seaplane. The companies state that the partnership reflects a shared goal to advance zero-emission regional connectivity. "NOEMI fits naturally into our vision for clean, connected regional mobility," said Ed Wegel, founder and CEO of UrbanLink. "It's amphibious capability and electric propulsion make it a compelling and efficient solution for linking coastal and island communities." "UrbanLink represents exactly the kind of forward-leaning operator we want to partner with," said Eric Lithun, founder and CEO of Elfly Group. "This MoU underlines growing market confidence in NOEMI and the international commercial momentum we are building as we commence full-scale prototype development. Florida is a perfect starting point, with its extensive coastlines, islands and waterways. It is one of the best places in the world to unlock the full potential of electric seaplane travel."
