Boeing has announced that it will continue its platinum-level sponsorship with EAA and the annual EAA AirVenture Oshkosh fly-in convention. "The participation in AirVenture continues to grow not only within general aviation but also in the commercial, business, and military sectors. It's an ideal stage to showcase Boeing's diverse products and services," said Boeing president and CEO Chris Raymond. "EAA has an impressive global reach with an immense community and helps inspire the next generation of aviation professionals." Boeing formalized its support of the convention in 2011 and is considered one of the largest vendors there. It has provided AirVenture admission at no cost to youth attendees 18 and younger and will continue to do so with this new three-year agreement. Boeing will maintain the naming rights of Boeing Plaza with the sponsorship, as well as act as the Presenting Sponsor of WomenVenture, provide support for the Airline Crew Check-in, and continue backing multiple KidVenture activities.
