100LL, JetA and SAF price averages down to end the year

Overall Price Movement A natural stall in general aviation and corporate flight traffic due to holidays and winter weather has FBOs doing everything they can to keep fuel moving through their lines. Compared to November, GlobalAir.com saw a slight decline in the national averages for JetA, 100LL and SAF for December.100LL prices continued to drop with the temperature. The national average did not deviate too far from $6.50 for most of the year, peaking in March at $6.58. However, 100LL has shown a consistent monthly decline since October, with December's average recording 2025's record low at $6.44.JetA's national average peaked in November at $6.33 and was the lowest in May at $6.18. December's national average was $6.26, a notable 7-cent decline from the month prior (and oddly close to a perfect median for the year's extremes).SAF has easily been the most volatile of the prices we monitor, primarily due to the newness of the fuel itself, differences in mixture ratios and regional ease of access. According to our national averages, SAF saw a peak in February at a whopping $9.00 per gallon and its lowest point in October at $8.70. SAF averages teeter-tottered throughout the year by double-digit cents, wrapping up the year with a lower $8.72 December average.With prices down across the board, FBOs everywhere are hoping it's enough to entice pilots for some winter-weather hours.Top Performing AirportsWhich airport did you visit the most in December?
