Gulfstream has announced that the newly certified Gulfstream G800 has achieved its 8th city-pair speed record while en route to the 2025 Dubai Airshow. The aircraft completed the flight from Phuket, Thailand, to Dubai, UAE in 5 hours and 38 minutes. Other city-pair records for the G800 include flying from Miami to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 12 hours and 33 minutes and from Florence, Italy, to Savannah, in 9 hours and 33 minutes. The G800 can travel up to 8,200 nm at its long-range cruise speed of Mach 0.85 and 7,000 nm at its high-speed cruise of Mach 0.90, making it the longest-range Gulfstream aircraft. "Setting eight speed records this quickly following its August entry into service is a powerful testament to the tremendous capabilities of this aircraft," said Gulfstream president Mark Burns. "We are already seeing overwhelming interest and demand for the G800 and are pleased to be showcasing it in Dubai this week. The Middle East continues to be a strong region for Gulfstream, and we are looking forward to meeting with our customers as well as prospective customers."
