Duncan Aviation celebrates 25 years of its Rapid Response Team in Texas
Duncan Aviation announced that it is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its first mobile engine Rapid Response Team (RRT).
The team of mobile-ready turbine engine technicians in 2000 at Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL). Other teams were later formed in Chicago, Illinois; Denver, Colorado; Phoenix, Arizona; and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The teams provided mobile troubleshooting and AOG engine support for the Honeywell TFE731 engines and other engine platforms for operators in the field.
Currently, there are over 30 factory-trained technicians who travel more than 250,000 land miles annually. They are strategically positioned across the United States, including in Dallas, where it is located at the Addison Airport (ADS). All vehicles are equipped with the necessary tooling and capability, which includes troubleshooting, routine periodic inspections, vibration surveys, on-the-wing repairs, engine removals and reinstallations, and line maintenance, including Line Replaceable Unit changes and borescope inspections.
