Textron has removed the Baron and the Bonanza from its website and will no longer be producing new aircraft for the line. Production of the Beechcraft Baron G58 and the Beechcraft Bonanza G36 will fully cease once its current order backlog is filled, according to Avbrief. The company will continue to provide support for the aircraft. Textron will instead be focusing on the production of its new Beechcraft Denali turboprop. Both aircraft have had slow sales in the past two years. In 2024, only five Bonanzas and two Barons were delivered and four Bonanzas and two Barons were delivered in 2025.RELATED STORIES:Bonanza Ruddervator Skins can now be replaced after being unavailable since 2021 Textron, Air Methods celebrate helicopter deal, deliveryTextron and General Dynamics release 2025 third quarter earnings results"As part of Textron Aviation's product investment plan, the company will end production of the Beechcraft Baron G58 and Beechcraft Bonanza G36 models once all current orders are fulfilled," a Textron spokesperson told Globalair. "Known for their power and craftsmanship, the Baron and Bonanza aircraft have been cornerstones of the company's leadership in the piston market for nearly eight decades. More than 6,000 Baron and 18,000 Bonanza aircraft have been delivered worldwide.
